A Prayer to receive Jesus as Lord
Dear Heavenly Father... I come to you in the
name of Jesus.
Your Word says, Those who come to Him, He will not
reject. (John 6:37).
So Lord I am coming to you.
You said in your Word, anyone who calls upon
the name of Jesus will be saved. (Romans 10:13).
I am calling upon your name and I am
receiving salvation.
Your Word says, if you tell others with your
own mouth that Jesus is your Lord, and believe in your own heart that God has
raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. It is by believing in his heart
that a man becomes right with God; and with his mouth he tells others of his
faith, confirming his salvation (Romans 10:9-10).
I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is
the Son of God. I believe that He was raised from the dead for me. And I confess
Jesus now as my Lord. I have now become right with God in Christ (2 Corinthians
5:21)...And I am saved now!
